We all suffer from fear, doubt, and anxiety on the way to becoming successful.

And surprisingly, we can also suffer from it once we’ve become successful too.

3 of the most common fears that I work with my executive coaching clients include:

1. Impostor syndrome

2. Fear of failure

3. Losing control and adapting to change

Which of these can you relate to?

And more importantly what can you do about it?

1. Acceptance

· It’s normal to have self-doubt.

· We all have it. You’re not alone

· It means that you’re outside of your comfort zone

· Where growth happens

2. Remembering

· This is not the first time you have self-doubt

· You’ve succeeded in the past despite your self-doubt

· What were those times?

· What allowed you to overcome them?

· What can you use from the past to help you now?

3. Mindset

· Thinking of change as a growth and learning opportunity as opposed to losing control

· Remembering that you’ve dealt with change before – successfully

· You can do it again

Remembering these points in the moment can be hard.

Working with an executive coach may help.

What else do you do to overcome your fears?
