2 ways to deal with fear.

I coach leaders in transition such as taking on a larger role.

There’s always excitement. 

It’s a promotion. 

Something you’ve worked towards and finally achieved.

 But sometimes fear too.

What if I can’t do the job?                                                     

We all feel fear at some point.            

The main thing is not to freeze in fear.         

Fear is not bad.

Fear is just an emotion.

Fear is a mask for desire.

It shows you what’s important to you.

1.     Remember that you’ve been successful before in spite of fear.

And you will again.

2.     Recall why the thing is important to you.

Often it’s because you’re pursuing a purpose bigger than yourself.

Such as wanting to help or provide for others

Taking action for something greater than you makes it less about you and your fear.

And so easier to move forward.
