1. Get to know your new stakeholders.
· Not just those you report to but those who report into you.
i. What are they struggling with?
ii. What do they need?
iii. How will they measure your success?
· Does your plan address these?
2. Get feedback and buy in on your plan from a few trusted stakeholders.
3. Refine your plan accordingly.
4. BUT prioritise and stay focused.
· It’s easy to be pulled in many directions trying to please everyone.
5. Communicate your plan.
6. Communicate it again.
· Cultural and language differences may mean that your stakeholders need time to understand your plan
7. Launch your plan but stay flexible
· New markets
· New stakeholders
· New cultures
· Much is fluid
8. Adapt accordingly
